What was reported
Charles Hickson and his younger co-worker Calvin Parker reported to the Jackson County sheriff that while fishing they heard a buzzing, saw an oval craft with blue lights, and were floated aboard by three grey, wrinkled beings with pincer-like hands; Parker said he fainted. Deputies secretly recorded the two alone in a room and heard them stay consistent and frightened. A polygraph Hickson took later was criticised as given by an inexperienced examiner; there is no instrument record. Hickson went on to claim continuing contact and messages, and Parker gave expanded accounts decades later.
