What was reported
A video presented by Jaime Maussan shows a metallic saucer wobbling between office towers in the Lomas de Chapultepec district. Jeff Sainio's analysis, published in the MUFON Journal in October 1998, found that the buildings carry the camera-shake motion blur but the saucer does not, and that it jumps between rest and steady motion without acceleration, both signs it was not in the scene when filmed. Researchers later traced the footage to a computer-graphics animator working in advertising, though no confession is on record.
