What was reported
Dionisio Llanca, a 25-year-old truck driver, said that while changing a tyre on Route 3 in the early hours an intense light paralysed him and three beings took him aboard a craft and cut his hand; he was found confused some kilometres away and admitted to the Bahía Blanca municipal hospital on 30 October. Ufologists Fabio Zerpa and Guillermo Roncoroni organised a panel of doctors and psychologists that ran 16 hypnosis sessions and used sodium pentothal, and Zerpa published the account. Sources give the date as 27 or 28 October. There is no independent witness, and hypnotic recall is not evidence of what happened.
