What was reported
Just before midnight on 30 April 2023 a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer's body camera recorded a bright streak falling across the sky, a fireball the American Meteor Society logged from California, Nevada and Utah. Shortly afterwards a family called 911 saying something had crashed in their backyard and that two very tall beings with big eyes were standing by it. Officers searched the yard and neighbourhood and found nothing unusual; the department closed the call, and the bodycam and 911 audio released in June 2023 went viral. No physical trace or other witness of the beings exists.
