What was reported

FBI FD-302 recording an April 2025 interview of two former U.S. military service members about a June or July 2011 sighting near their home. Leaving their driveway at night, they saw a massive black isosceles-to-equilateral triangle, estimated 200 feet long by 100 feet wide, flying low (about 800 feet) and slowly, with a car-sized diffuse white light recessed in each of its three corners and a grayish/graphite-colored center, producing a low pulsing hum, and leaving no contrail. The sighting lasted 10-15 seconds before the object crossed a tree line; witnesses did not manage to capture video in time. Neighbors reportedly also saw it.

FBI-UAP-D029, Digital Rendering, "Dark Triangle with Lights," 2011

An FBI-commissioned digital rendering, "Dark Triangle with Lights," illustrating a June or July 2011 sighting based on the first-hand account of two former U.S. military service members recorded in the paired FD-302 (FBI-UAP-D028, an April 2025 interview). Per that FD-302, as the two men (one driving, one a passenger) left a driveway around 8-9 PM, one got out of the vehicle and saw a massive black isosceles/equilateral triangle with a white light recessed at each corner, low to the ground, making a low pulsing hum, moving north over roughly 10-15 seconds before crossing a tree line. Neighbors reportedly also witnessed it, though no neighbor statement is in the paired file.
