What was reported
FBI FD-302 interview of a U.S. person (and a second person present) describing a separate first-hand sighting: a yellow, basketball-sized ball of light and a larger beach-ball-sized light behind a tree line, moving laterally past several reference trees at a consistent height before one orb moved into the other and both disappeared. The same witness recalled seeing higher, white orbs weeks later, and separately recounted a 1987 sighting of a red light 'like Kit from Knight Rider' that hovered and landed near a power station.

FBI FD-302 recording a February 2026 videoconference interview with a U.S. person about a first-hand backyard sighting. The witness described a roughly one-meter brilliant red sphere hovering below the tree line with a white-plasma-sun-like core, joined by an identical second orb; the two moved in tandem, changed altitude and direction silently, then appeared to merge before disappearing. The witness captured video. Weeks later the same witness reportedly saw several higher-altitude white orbs travel over the house.

An eyewitness's iPhone 14 Pro Max video from July 2025, roughly 2100 local time, showing what the paired FD-302 (FBI-UAP-D009) describes as a brilliant red sphere about one meter in diameter, hovering about 25 feet up in the witness's backyard, with a white "plasma sun" about basketball-sized visible at its center; a second, identical orb appeared above the first, and the two moved together westward before appearing to merge as they went out of sight. The witness's spouse also saw the objects (recorded separately in FBI-UAP-D010). The FBI assesses the witnesses as credible and links this sighting to the PR001-PR003 cluster roughly 25 miles away.
