What was reported

FD-302 interview (entered October 2023) with a U.S. person who was driving to a test site to acquire LiDAR test data around 9:00 a.m. on 1 September 2023, part of a three-vehicle convoy. He saw a stationary bright white light over the horizon that then moved to the right and disappeared after about ten seconds, staying the same size throughout; he estimated it was 10-20 miles away and noticed no vehicle interference. He pointed it out to a passenger who looked the wrong way and missed it, but two others in the convoy later said they also saw it; the witness thought it might have been a meteor burning up.
