What was reported

Uploader-titled 'Spherical UAP over AFG in and out of clouds', assessed by AARO as likely from a US platform in CENTCOM on 23 November 2020, uploaded to a classified network June 2024. The 47-second file carries uploader title cards announcing 'zoomed in', a described processing chain ('sharpened, zoomed, motion tracked, contrast enhanced, slowed to 60% speed'), and a labeled 'original video' segment, i.e. both a processed and an original version are included.

Why this rating Release 2 (unlike release 1's aircrew-submitted MISREP-paired videos): these files were found by AARO on a classified network after 8 House members requested access to 51 potentially UAP-related records on 6 March 2026; AARO states many of these materials lack a substantiated chain-of-custody. Uploader-supplied titles (often dramatic: 'instant acceleration', 'Cigar Shaped', 'erratic movement') are distinct from and not confirmed by AARO's own neutral video description. Both processed and unaltered segments are present, which is useful for comparison, but the unaltered segment itself (per the neutral description) shows only an indistinct area of contrast losing distinctiveness against the background twice, not a resolved spherical object moving through clouds.

As described in the file

Sensors
Infrared (single sensor), assessed not confirmed
Motion
Transits and loses distinctiveness against background, twice (processed and original versions)

What the file claims

1
  • Unverified

The uploader included both a heavily processed version and an unaltered 'original video' segment in the same file, allowing direct comparison of the two.
