What was reported

Chilean Army border units at Colchane filmed, on thermal cameras, several luminous points that appeared and vanished, some moving together and one group briefly forming a triangle; a T13 television team reported the footage in 2026 alongside a retired Air Force pilot's account of a radar contact. No official analysis or conclusion has been published, and the reporting gives no ranges, so satellites, aircraft, drones or distant lights cannot be ruled out from what is public.
