What was reported
At about 5:30 am farmer's wife Elizabeth (also given as Eileen) Moreland, crossing a paddock to milk cows, saw green lights descend from cloud and a saucer-shaped craft hover nearby, and said it contained two men in silvery suits before it left at speed. She reported it to the police and the nearby RNZAF station at Woodbourne, where her husband worked, looked into it. The report is among the files the New Zealand Defence Force released in December 2010. It is a single-witness account with no physical evidence.
